Basket Strainer Housing
 Clear Blue Filtration provides sizing, design and manufacture of custom ASME code and non-code basket strainer housings. We offer superior products for your custom bag filter housing projects. We will collaborate with you to clearly define your projects specification with respect to materials, strainer size and configuration, and design options in the development phase of your project. Our ASME code and non-code custom fabricated strainer vessels are available in single and duplex vessel configurations for a broad range industrial applications.
Materials:
We can design and build your custom utilizing metals in Carbon Steel, 304/L and 316/L stainless steels, Duplex Stainless Steel for superior corrosion resistance, and other Stainless Steel alloys. We offer a broad range exterior finishes and interior linings customized to your projects specifications.

Custom Design Criteria:
Custom design criteria is generally based on the following items with general sign off procedures.
- Vertical configuration
- Materials of construction: Carbon Steel, 304/L and 316/L Stainless Steel, Duplex Stainless Steel and other Stainless alloys.
- ASME code and additional standards or non-code design
- Temperature and pressure requirements
- Process flow rate
- Physical and chemical properties of the process fluid

Preferred Inlet/Outlet Nozzles Sizes
- Flanged, NPT, BSPT, SAE connections are available.
- Closure styles, i.e. quick-opening, swing-bolt, and flanged.
- Non Destructive exemption requirement such as RT, UT, PT, MT, WFMT, PMI, Hardness, PWHT and ferrite level testing.
- Supplemental nozzles: vents, delta P ports, clean drains, dirty drains, sample ports etc.
- Cover Davit System Mechanical or Hydraulic
- Internals (baskets, hold down plates, etc.)
- Finishing’s for exterior and interior lining available: Electropolishing, Passivation, Hot-Dip Galvanizing, Nickel Plating, Painting, Powder Coating, Media/Abrasive Blasting, Zinc Plating, Teflon® Coating, Rubber Coating, Epoxy Coating, Thermal Spray Aluminum and Fireproofing.
